सावित्रीपतितैः सार्धं संबंधं न समाचरेत् । ऐणं च रौरवं वास्तं क्रमाच्चर्म द्विजन्मनाम्

sāvitrīpatitaiḥ sārdhaṃ saṃbaṃdhaṃ na samācaret | aiṇaṃ ca rauravaṃ vāstaṃ kramāccarma dvijanmanām

सावित्रीपासून पतित (उपनयनभ्रष्ट) लोकांशी संबंध ठेवू नये. द्विजांसाठी क्रमाने हरिणचर्म, रुरुचर्म आणि अजाचर्म विहित आहे.
