न तिष्ठन्नाप्सु नो विप्र गो वह्न्यनिल संमुखः । न फालकृष्टे भूभागे न रथ्यासेव्यभूतले
na tiṣṭhannāpsu no vipra go vahnyanila saṃmukhaḥ | na phālakṛṣṭe bhūbhāge na rathyāsevyabhūtale
हे विप्र, पाण्यात उभा राहून नाही, तसेच गाय, अग्नी किंवा वाऱ्याच्या समोर नाही; नांगराने नुकतीच नांगरलेली जमीन, तसेच रस्ता किंवा लोकवर्दळ असलेल्या ठिकाणीही ते कर्म करू नये।
