ते उपवन शाल, ताल, तमाल, हिंताल व लकुच वृक्षांनी वेढलेले होते; फुललेल्या सप्तच्छदाच्या सुगंधाने दरवळणारे; खर्जुरीच्या रांगांनी शोभणारे; नारळाच्या वृक्षछायेत आच्छादित आणि संत्र्यांच्या बागेच्या लालसर तेजाने अधिकच रंजित होते।
