विश्वं भर्तुं समर्थोऽसि भरणाद्भैरवः स्मृतः । त्वत्तो भेष्यति कालोपि ततस्त्वं कालभैरवः
viśvaṃ bhartuṃ samartho'si bharaṇādbhairavaḥ smṛtaḥ | tvatto bheṣyati kālopi tatastvaṃ kālabhairavaḥ
तू विश्वाचे पालन करण्यास समर्थ आहेस; भरणामुळे तुला ‘भैरव’ म्हणतात. काळही तुझ्यापासून भयभीत होतो; म्हणून तू ‘कालभैरव’ आहेस.
