हिरण्यगर्भस्तं प्राह जाने त्वां चंद्रशेखरम् । भालस्थलान्ममपुरा रुद्रः प्रादुरभूद्भवान्
hiraṇyagarbhastaṃ prāha jāne tvāṃ caṃdraśekharam | bhālasthalānmamapurā rudraḥ prādurabhūdbhavān
हिरण्यगर्भ (ब्रह्मा) त्याला म्हणाला—“मी तुला चंद्रशेखर म्हणून ओळखतो; पूर्वी तू माझ्या भाळप्रदेशातून रुद्ररूपाने प्रकट झाला होतास।”
