वाहीको नामतो यज्ञसूत्रमात्रपरिग्रहः । परिग्रहश्च तस्यासीत्कौविंदी विधवा नवा
vāhīko nāmato yajñasūtramātraparigrahaḥ | parigrahaśca tasyāsītkauviṃdī vidhavā navā
त्याचे नाव वाहीक; त्याच्याकडे केवळ यज्ञोपवीत हेच जणू एकमेव ‘धन’ होते. आणि त्याची आसक्ती नवयौवना कौविंदी—विणकर समाजातील विधवा—हिच्यावर होती.
