kadācidupaviṣṭaḥsanmadhye rājasabhaṃ dvija | dūrātkārpaṭikairdṛṣṭo vārāṇasyāḥ samāgataiḥ

Translation

हे द्विज! एकदा तो राजसभेच्या मध्यभागी बसला असता, वाराणसीहून आलेल्या भ्रमणशील कार्पटिक वैराग्यांनी त्याला दूरून पाहिले.
