ये मुहूर्ताः क्षणा ये च या काष्ठा ये निमेषकाः । ऋते विष्णुस्मृतेर्यातास्तेषु मुष्टो यमेन सः
ye muhūrtāḥ kṣaṇā ye ca yā kāṣṭhā ye nimeṣakāḥ | ṛte viṣṇusmṛteryātāsteṣu muṣṭo yamena saḥ
जे मुहूर्त, क्षण, काष्ठा व निमेष विष्णुस्मरणाविना निघून जातात—त्या व्यर्थ काळासाठी तो मनुष्य यमाकडून पकडला जातो।
