इति व्याकुलिते लोके सुरासुरनरोरगे । आःकिमेतदकांडेभूद्रुरुदुर्दुद्रुवुः प्रजाः
iti vyākulite loke surāsuranarorage | āḥkimetadakāṃḍebhūdrurudurdudruvuḥ prajāḥ
अशा रीतीने देव, असुर, मनुष्य व नागांसह लोक व्याकुळ झाला। ‘हाय! हे अचानक काय घडलं?’ असे म्हणत प्रजा रडत-ओरडत इकडे-तिकडे पळू लागली।
