Skanda (deduced narrator within Kāśī-khaṇḍa)
Scene: Rudra, fierce and radiant, lifts the Ajagava bow; with one hand he seizes an opponent’s heel to halt him from fleeing with Tārā; the scene is charged with storm-clouds, ash-smeared body, serpents, and blazing third eye; gods watch in alarm.
When dharma is violated and reconciliation fails, divine powers intervene to restrain wrongdoing and restore order.
The story is narrated within Kāśī-khaṇḍa’s frame; the tīrtha focus is contextual (Kāśī) rather than explicit in this verse.
None; it is narrative (upākhyāna).
