इति निश्चित्य विन्ध्याद्रिर्ववृधे स मृधेक्षणः । अनंतगगनस्यांतं कुर्वद्भिः शिखरैरिव

iti niścitya vindhyādrirvavṛdhe sa mṛdhekṣaṇaḥ | anaṃtagaganasyāṃtaṃ kurvadbhiḥ śikharairiva

असा निश्चय करून, मृधेक्षण असा तो विन्ध्य पर्वत वाढू लागला; जणू त्याच्या शिखरांनी अनंत आकाशालाच अंत घालावा।
