etattīrthasamaṃ tīrthaṃ na bhūtaṃ na bhaviṣyati | etadvaḥ kathitaṃ viprā lakṣmītīrthasya vaibhavam
या तीर्थासारखे दुसरे तीर्थ ना पूर्वी झाले, ना पुढे होईल। हे विप्रहो, लक्ष्मीतीर्थाचे हे वैभव तुम्हांला सांगितले आहे।
Sūta (implied, addressing the sages/brāhmaṇas)
Tirtha: Lakṣmītīrtha
Type: kshetra
Listener: viprāḥ (brāhmaṇas)
Scene: A sage-narrator proclaims to assembled brāhmaṇas that Lakṣmītīrtha is unequaled; the tīrtha is shown glowing, with lotus and śrī symbols hovering above the waters.
The Purāṇic method of teaching magnifies faith by declaring a tīrtha’s unique, incomparable sanctity.
Lakṣmītīrtha.
None directly; this is a concluding proclamation of the tīrtha’s vaibhava (greatness).
