ब्रह्मोवाच । स्वागतं सुरसङ्घस्य कान्तिर्नष्टा पुरातनी । हिमक्लिष्टप्रभावेण ज्योतींषीव मुखानि वः
brahmovāca | svāgataṃ surasaṅghasya kāntirnaṣṭā purātanī | himakliṣṭaprabhāveṇa jyotīṃṣīva mukhāni vaḥ
ब्रह्मदेव म्हणाले—हे देवसमूह, तुमचे स्वागत आहे. तुमची पूर्वीची कांती जणू लोपली आहे; हिमाच्या कठोर प्रभावाने मंद झालेल्या दीपांसारखी तुमची मुखे दिसत आहेत.
