अवेदविदुषे नैव ब्राह्मणे सर्वविक्रये । मित्रघ्ने च कृतघ्ने च मन्त्रहीने तथैव च

वेद न जाणणाऱ्या ब्राह्मणाला दान देऊ नये; जो लाभासाठी सर्वकाही विकतो त्यालाही नको. मित्रघातकी, कृतघ्न आणि मंत्रहीन (अनधिकार) यांनाही दान देऊ नये.
