अतीतं वर्तमानं च स्मरामि च सृजाम्यहम् । तैर्विना चाहमेकस्तु मूकोऽधो जडवत्सदा
atītaṃ vartamānaṃ ca smarāmi ca sṛjāmyaham | tairvinā cāhamekastu mūko'dho jaḍavatsadā
मी अतीत व वर्तमान स्मरतो आणि सृष्टीही रचतो; पण त्या (वेदां) शिवाय मी एकटा सदैव मूक, हीन व जडवत् होतो।
