ब्रह्महत्यान्वितः कण्वो निस्तेजा व्यचरन्महीम् । व्यचरंश्चैव सम्प्राप्तो नर्मदामुरिसंगमे
brahmahatyānvitaḥ kaṇvo nistejā vyacaranmahīm | vyacaraṃścaiva samprāpto narmadāmurisaṃgame
ब्रह्महत्येच्या दोषाने युक्त कण्व तेजहीन होऊन पृथ्वीवर भटकत राहिला; आणि भटकता-भटकता तो उरिसंगम येथे नर्मदेपाशी येऊन पोहोचला.
