श्रुतं रुद्राच्च तैः सर्वैरहं तत्र समीपगः ईश्वर उवाच । मार्तण्डग्रहणे प्राप्ते ये व्रजन्ति षडानन । रवितीर्थे कुरुक्षेत्रे तुल्यमेतत्फलं लभेत्
śrutaṃ rudrācca taiḥ sarvairahaṃ tatra samīpagaḥ īśvara uvāca | mārtaṇḍagrahaṇe prāpte ye vrajanti ṣaḍānana | ravitīrthe kurukṣetre tulyametatphalaṃ labhet
हे सर्वांनी रुद्राकडून हे ऐकले, आणि मी तेथे जवळच होतो. ईश्वर म्हणाले—हे षडानन, सूर्यग्रहणकाळी जे रवितीर्थास जातात, त्यांना कुरुक्षेत्रासारखेच फळ मिळते.
