तावन्तो देवदैत्येन्द्राः पक्षाभ्यां तस्य जज्ञिरे । तेषां मध्ये पुनः सा तु नर्मदा भ्रमते सरित्
tāvanto devadaityendrāḥ pakṣābhyāṃ tasya jajñire | teṣāṃ madhye punaḥ sā tu narmadā bhramate sarit
त्याच्या दोन्ही पंखांतून तितकेच देव-दैत्यांचे इंद्र (प्रधान) उत्पन्न झाले. आणि त्यांच्या मध्ये तीच नर्मदा नदी पुन्हा प्रवाहित होत राहिली.
