नर्मदोवाच । तव प्रसादाद्देवेश मृत्युर्मम न विद्यते । सृज देव पुनर्विश्वं शर्वरी क्षयमागता
narmadovāca | tava prasādāddeveśa mṛtyurmama na vidyate | sṛja deva punarviśvaṃ śarvarī kṣayamāgatā
नर्मदा म्हणाली— “हे देवेश! तुमच्या प्रसादाने मला मृत्यु नाही। म्हणून, हे देव! पुन्हा विश्वाची सृष्टी करा; ही प्रलयरात्रि आता समाप्त झाली आहे।”
