सूर्यग्रहे तु यः स्नात्वा दद्याद्दानं यथाविधि । हस्त्यश्वरथरत्नादि गृहं गाश्च युगंधरान्
sūryagrahe tu yaḥ snātvā dadyāddānaṃ yathāvidhi | hastyaśvaratharatnādi gṛhaṃ gāśca yugaṃdharān
सूर्यग्रहणकाळी जो येथे स्नान करून विधिपूर्वक दान देतो—हत्ती, घोडे, रथ, रत्ने इत्यादी, घरे व जू लावण्यास योग्य गायी—तो महान पुण्य प्राप्त करतो।
