य इदं श्रावयेच्छ्राद्धे विप्राणां भुञ्जतां नृप । मुदं प्रयान्ति संहृष्टाः पितरस्तस्य सर्वशः
ya idaṃ śrāvayecchrāddhe viprāṇāṃ bhuñjatāṃ nṛpa | mudaṃ prayānti saṃhṛṣṭāḥ pitarastasya sarvaśaḥ
हे नृपा, श्राद्धकाळी ब्राह्मण भोजन करीत असता जो हा पाठ श्रवण करवितो, त्याचे पितर सर्वत्र अत्यंत हर्षित होऊन आनंदित होतात।
