चित्रसेन उवाच । अर्घस्यास्य न योग्योऽहं महर्षे नास्मि भाषणे । मृगमध्यस्थितो विप्रस्तव पुत्रो मया हतः
citrasena uvāca | arghasyāsya na yogyo'haṃ maharṣe nāsmi bhāṣaṇe | mṛgamadhyasthito viprastava putro mayā hataḥ
चित्रसेन म्हणाला—हे महर्षे, या अर्घ्याचा मी योग्य नाही; बोलण्याचाही मी पात्र नाही. हे ब्राह्मण, मृगांच्या मध्ये उभा असलेला तुमचा पुत्र माझ्याकडून मारला गेला।
