तत्र स्नात्वा च यो भक्त्या सोपवासो जितेन्द्रियः । तत्र जागरणं कुर्वन् दद्याद्दीपं प्रयत्नतः
tatra snātvā ca yo bhaktyā sopavāso jitendriyaḥ | tatra jāgaraṇaṃ kurvan dadyāddīpaṃ prayatnataḥ
जो तेथे भक्तीने स्नान करील, उपवास करील व इंद्रिये जिंकून ठेवील—तेथे जागरण करत—त्याने प्रयत्नपूर्वक दीपदान करावे.
