एतत्संक्षेपतः सर्वं संक्षिप्तं तैर्महात्मभिः । विभक्तं च चतुर्भागैर्ब्रह्माद्यैश्च महर्षिभिः
etatsaṃkṣepataḥ sarvaṃ saṃkṣiptaṃ tairmahātmabhiḥ | vibhaktaṃ ca caturbhāgairbrahmādyaiśca maharṣibhiḥ
हे सर्व संक्षेपाने त्या महात्म्यांनी संकलित करून संक्षिप्त केले; आणि ब्रह्मा आदी महर्षींनी ते चार भागांत विभक्तही केले.
