अथ यो भोजयेद्विप्रान् पित्ःनुद्दिश्य भारत । तस्य ते द्वादशाब्दानि मोदन्ते दिवि तर्पिताः
atha yo bhojayedviprān pitḥnuddiśya bhārata | tasya te dvādaśābdāni modante divi tarpitāḥ
आणि हे भारत! जो पितरांच्या उद्देशाने ब्राह्मणांना भोजन घालतो, त्याचे पितर तृप्त होऊन स्वर्गात बारा वर्षे आनंदित राहतात।
