स्वर्गादागम्य गंगेति यथा ख्याता क्षितौ विभो । तथा दक्षिणगङ्गेति भवेयं त्रिदशेश्वर
svargādāgamya gaṃgeti yathā khyātā kṣitau vibho | tathā dakṣiṇagaṅgeti bhaveyaṃ tridaśeśvara
हे विभो! स्वर्गातून अवतरून ती जशी पृथ्वीवर ‘गंगा’ म्हणून ख्यात झाली, तसेच हे त्रिदशेश्वर, मी ‘दक्षिणगंगा’ म्हणून प्रसिद्ध होवो।
