śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | hanta te kathayiṣyāmi vicitraṃ yatpurātanam | vṛttaṃ svargasabhāmadhye ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām

श्री मार्कंडेय म्हणाले—अहो, मी तुला एक अद्भुत प्राचीन वृत्तांत सांगतो। स्वर्गसभेमध्ये, भावितात्मा ऋषींच्या मध्ये जे घडले ते ऐक।
