अथान्ये दानवास्तत्र दह्यन्तेऽग्निविमोहिताः । न शक्ताश्चान्यतो गन्तुं धूमेनाकुलिताननाः । हंसकारण्डवाकीर्णा नलिन्यो हेमपङ्कजाः
athānye dānavāstatra dahyante'gnivimohitāḥ | na śaktāścānyato gantuṃ dhūmenākulitānanāḥ | haṃsakāraṇḍavākīrṇā nalinyo hemapaṅkajāḥ
मग तेथे इतर दानवही अग्नीने मोहित होऊन दग्ध होऊ लागले. धुराने त्यांची तोंडे व्याकुळ झाली; म्हणून ते अन्यत्र जाऊ शकले नाहीत. हंस व कारण्डवांनी भरलेल्या नलिन्यांत सुवर्णकमळे फुलली होती.
