यत्प्रदत्तमिदं पुण्यं पुराणं वाच्यते द्विजैः । शिवलोके स्थितिस्तस्य पुराणाक्षरवत्सरी
yatpradattamidaṃ puṇyaṃ purāṇaṃ vācyate dvijaiḥ | śivaloke sthitistasya purāṇākṣaravatsarī
जेव्हा हे पुण्य पुराण दान केले जाते आणि द्विज त्याचे पठण करतात, तेव्हा दात्यास शिवलोकी वास मिळतो—पुराणातील अक्षरसंख्येइतकी वर्षे।
