तत एवं विगाह्यापो मन्त्रमेतमुदीरयेत् । त्वं नर्मदे पुण्यजले तवाम्भः शङ्करोद्भवम्
tata evaṃ vigāhyāpo mantrametamudīrayet | tvaṃ narmade puṇyajale tavāmbhaḥ śaṅkarodbhavam
मग अशा रीतीने पाण्यात विगाहन करून हा मंत्र म्हणावा—“हे नर्मदे, पुण्यजलरूपे! तुझे अंभः शंकरोद्भव आहे.”
