सप्तकल्पक्षये क्षीणे न मृता तेन नर्मदा । नर्मदैकैव राजेन्द्र परं तिष्ठेत्सरिद्वरा
saptakalpakṣaye kṣīṇe na mṛtā tena narmadā | narmadaikaiva rājendra paraṃ tiṣṭhetsaridvarā
सात कल्पांच्या प्रलयाचा क्षय पूर्ण झाला तरी नर्मदा नष्ट होत नाही। म्हणून हे राजेंद्र, नर्मदाच एकटी परम स्थिर राहते—नद्यांमध्ये श्रेष्ठ।
