माहात्म्यं श्रावयेद्विप्राञ्छ्रीपतेः श्राद्धकर्मणि । घृतेन मधुना तेन तर्पिताः स्युः पितामहाः
māhātmyaṃ śrāvayedviprāñchrīpateḥ śrāddhakarmaṇi | ghṛtena madhunā tena tarpitāḥ syuḥ pitāmahāḥ
श्रीपती (विष्णू) यांच्या श्राद्धकर्मात ब्राह्मणांना हे माहात्म्य श्रवण करावे; त्यामुळे पितर घृत व मधुच्या तर्पणासारखे तृप्त होतात।
