मार्कण्डेय उवाच । पृष्टं यद्राजशार्दूल के मखे होत्रिणोऽभवन् । तत्प्रोच्यमानमधुना शृणु भूत्वा समाहितः
mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | pṛṣṭaṃ yadrājaśārdūla ke makhe hotriṇo'bhavan | tatprocyamānamadhunā śṛṇu bhūtvā samāhitaḥ
मार्कण्डेय म्हणाले—हे राजशार्दूल! त्या यज्ञात कोण होत्री ऋत्विज होते, असे तू विचारलेस. आता ते मी सांगतो; चित्त एकाग्र करून ऐक.
