दशाश्वमेधे यः कश्चिच्छूरवृत्त्या तनुं त्यजेत् । अक्षया नु गतिस्तस्य इत्येवं श्रुतिनोदना
daśāśvamedhe yaḥ kaścicchūravṛttyā tanuṃ tyajet | akṣayā nu gatistasya ityevaṃ śrutinodanā
दशाश्वमेधात जो कोणी शूरवृत्तीने देहत्याग करतो, त्याची गती अक्षय असते—अशी श्रुतीची प्रेरणा आहे।
