सीदमानं जगद्दृष्ट्वा तमूचुः परमेष्ठिनम् । जानासि त्वं जगच्छेषं प्रभो मैथुनसम्भवात्
sīdamānaṃ jagaddṛṣṭvā tamūcuḥ parameṣṭhinam | jānāsi tvaṃ jagaccheṣaṃ prabho maithunasambhavāt
जग हळूहळू क्षीण होत आहे असे पाहून त्यांनी परमेष्ठी ब्रह्मदेवांना म्हटले—“हे प्रभो! सृष्टीचा प्रवाह मैथुनसम्भव आहे; म्हणून जगाचा उरलेला उपाय आपणच जाणता.”
