Transliteration

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | utpattikāraṇaṃ brahmā devadevaḥ prakīrtitaḥ | prathamaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ carācarajagadguruḥ

Translation

मार्कण्डेय म्हणाला— सृष्टीच्या उत्पत्तीचे कारण म्हणून ब्रह्मा ‘देवदेव’ म्हणून कीर्तित आहे; तोच या चराचर जगातील सर्व भूतांचा आद्य गुरु आहे।
