aṅgāraka uvāca | tava prasādāddeveśa sarvalokamaheśvara | grahamadhyagato nityaṃ vicarāmi nabhastale
Aṅgāraka (Maṅgala/Mars)
Tirtha: Aṅgāraka Tīrtha
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahārāja (king)
Scene: Aṅgāraka speaks to Śiva, describing his continual movement in the sky among the planets; visualized as a red planet/god moving through a starry firmament, with Śiva as the granting source behind the cosmic scene.
Even cosmic roles (like a graha’s station) are portrayed as upheld by Śiva’s prasāda, teaching dependence on divine order rather than mere fate.
The verse is part of the Revā Khaṇḍa narrative leading to a local tīrtha where Śaṅkara is installed and worshipped for merit.
None here; it is Aṅgāraka’s statement of grace and status. Ritual prescriptions appear later (snāna, pūjā, homa).
