मा धेहि गर्वं कीनाश हास्यं यास्यसि पीडयन् । प्राणिनं सर्वशरणं तद्भावि शरणं तव
mā dhehi garvaṃ kīnāśa hāsyaṃ yāsyasi pīḍayan | prāṇinaṃ sarvaśaraṇaṃ tadbhāvi śaraṇaṃ tava
हे कंजूषा, गर्व करू नकोस; प्राण्याला पीडा देऊन तू हसण्याचा विषय होशील। जो सर्व प्राण्यांचा आश्रय आहे, तोच शेवटी तुझाही आश्रय होईल।
