एवमुक्तस्तु विप्रोऽसौ कथयामास भारत । भार्याया यद्दिवा वृत्तं शङ्कमानो नृपोत्तम
evamuktastu vipro'sau kathayāmāsa bhārata | bhāryāyā yaddivā vṛttaṃ śaṅkamāno nṛpottama
असे म्हटल्यावर तो ब्राह्मण, हे भारत, दिवसा पत्नीबाबत जे घडले ते सांगू लागला; आणि श्रेष्ठ राजा संशय धरून ते लक्षपूर्वक ऐकू लागला।
