शिवतत्त्वे परापरभावविचारः
Inquiry into Śiva’s Principle and the Parā–Aparā Paradox
तच्छैशवं स्वरूपं च तस्य दृष्ट्वा मनोहरम् । सह देवसुरैर्लोकैर्विस्मिते च विमोहिते
tacchaiśavaṃ svarūpaṃ ca tasya dṛṣṭvā manoharam | saha devasurairlokairvismite ca vimohite
त्याचे ते मनोहर बालस्वरूप पाहून, देव व असुरांसह सर्व लोक विस्मित व अत्यंत मोहित झाले।

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Cosmic Event: Collective cosmic astonishment (loka-vyāpti) at a divine form that exceeds ordinary cognition.
The verse highlights Shiva’s saguna manifestation: even devas and asuras are stunned before his leela, showing that the Lord’s presence surpasses ordinary cognition and draws beings toward humility and devotion—an opening for grace in the Shaiva path.
Just as the Linga reveals Shiva beyond limiting concepts while still being worshipable, this childlike form presents Shiva as accessible and charming (saguna), yet capable of confounding the pride of celestial beings—guiding the devotee from form-based worship toward deeper realization.
A practical takeaway is dhyāna with bhakti: contemplate Shiva’s auspicious form while repeating the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), letting awe (vismaya) dissolve egoic certainty; this aligns with Shiva Purana-style devotion supported by japa and inner recollection.
