Brahma (instructing the ordering of creation, narrated within Rudrasaṃhitā’s Sṛṣṭi-khaṇḍa)
Tattva Level: pasha
It presents creation as an ordered hierarchy where cosmic powers (Moon, Sun, Fire) and ethical governance (Dharma and allied principles) are placed in a divinely regulated sequence—implying that right living aligns with the cosmic order ultimately upheld by Shiva.
By describing presiding deities and principles as arranged in a fixed order, the verse supports the Shaiva view that all functional powers operate under the Supreme Lord’s governance; Linga worship centers the devotee in that Supreme, from whom these cosmic offices derive their authority.
A practical takeaway is dhyāna on the ordered cosmos while chanting the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), cultivating inner discipline (dharma) as an offering to Shiva; if one follows Shaiva rites, this may be paired with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and daily Agni/sandhyā remembrance.
