Sukta 9.96
प्र सेनानीः शूरो अग्रे रथानां गव्यन्नेति हर्षते अस्य सेना । भद्रान्कृण्वन्निन्द्रहवान्त्सखिभ्य आ सोमो वस्त्रा रभसानि दत्ते ॥
prá senānī́ḥ śū́ro ágre ráthānāṃ gavyánn eti hárṣate asya sénā | bhadrā́n kṛṇván indra-havā́n sákhibhya ā́ sómo vástrā rabhasā́ni dátte ||
रथांच्या अग्रभागी वीर सेनानी सोम पुढे सरकतो, गव्य—दीप्त किरणरूप गो-संपदा—शोधीत; त्याची अंतःसेना हर्षित होते. मंगल घडवीत आणि इंद्र-आह्वान (इंद्रबल) जागवीत, सोम सख्यांना रभस वस्त्रे देतो—नवे आवरण, प्रकाश व सामर्थ्य देणारे.
