आ नः सोम सहो जुवो रूपं न वर्चसे भर । सुष्वाणो देववीतये ॥
Transliteration
ā naḥ soma sáho júvo rū́paṃ na várcase bhara | susvāṇó deva-vītáye ||
Translation
हे सोम! आमच्यासाठी सहः (बल) आणि जुवः (वेगवान प्रेरणा) घेऊन ये; वर्चसासाठी जणू रूप (तेजस्वी स्वरूप) धारण कर. सुष्वाण (निनादत/रसध्वनित) होऊन देववीति (देवांची प्राप्ती व आनंद) यासाठी प्रवृत्त हो.
