एष पुनानो मधुमाँ ऋतावेन्द्रायेन्दुः पवते स्वादुरूर्मिः । वाजसनिर्वरिवोविद्वयोधाः ॥

eṣá punānó mádhu-māṁ ṛtā́vā índrāyénduḥ pavate svādúr ū́rmiḥ | vāja-sánir varivo-víd váyo-dhā́ḥ ||

हा इन्दु, शुद्ध होत, मधुसमृद्ध व ऋताचा जाणकार, इन्द्रासाठी मधुर ऊर्मींसह प्रवाहित होतो; तो वाज‑समृद्धी जिंकतो, अस्तित्वासाठी विस्तीर्ण अवकाश शोधून देतो, आणि प्राणशक्तींना धारण‑पोषण करतो.
