Sukta 8.66
न यं दुध्रा वरन्ते न स्थिरा मुरो मदे सुशिप्रमन्धसः । य आदृत्या शशमानाय सुन्वते दाता जरित्र उक्थ्यम् ॥
ná yaṃ dudhrā́ várante ná sthirā́ muró máde suśiprám ándhasaḥ | yá ā́dṛtyā śaśamānā́ya sunváte dā́tā jaritré ukthyám ||
ज्याला कोणत्याही प्रतिरोधक शक्ती रोखू शकत नाहीत, ना स्थिर अडथळे—तो पिळलेल्या सोम-आनंदाच्या मदात असताना; तोच इंद्र, सावध लक्ष देऊन, धैर्याने सोम पिळणाऱ्या सुन्वतेला आणि स्तुती करणाऱ्या जरित्राला उक्थ्य (स्तोत्र-वचन) सामर्थ्याचा दाता होतो.
