Sukta 8.27
अभि प्रिया मरुतो या वो अश्व्या हव्या मित्र प्रयाथन । आ बर्हिरिन्द्रो वरुणस्तुरा नर आदित्यासः सदन्तु नः ॥
abhí priyā́ maruto yā́ vo aśvyā́ havyā́ mitra prayā́thana | ā bárhir índro váruṇas turā́ nárā ādityā́saḥ sadantu naḥ ||
हे मरुतांनो! तुमचे प्रिय हव्य—अश्व्या (अश्ववेगी) ते—त्याकडे अग्रसर व्हा; हे मित्रा! तू ते पुढे नेतोस. बिछावलेल्या बर्हि (आसन) वर इंद्र व वरुण येवोत; आणि तुरा (बलवान) आदित्य—वीर शक्ती—आमच्यासह इथे बसोत.
