Sukta 7.99
न ते विष्णो जायमानो न जातो देव महिम्नः परमन्तमाप । उदस्तभ्ना नाकमृष्वं बृहन्तं दाधर्थ प्राचीं ककुभं पृथिव्याः ॥
ná te víṣṇo jā́yamāno ná jātó deva mahimnáḥ paramám ántam āpa | úd astabhnāḥ nā́kam ṛṣvám bṛhántam dā́dhartha prācī́ṃ kakúbhaṃ pṛthivyā́ḥ ||
हे विष्णो देव! न जन्म घेताना, न जन्मलेला असताना—तरीही तू आपल्या महिमेच्या परम सीमेला पोहोचलेला नाहीस; ती अनंत आहे. तू वरचा तो उंच, विशाल नाक—स्वर्ग—स्थिर धरून ठेवला; आणि पृथ्वीच्या प्राची दिशेतील ककुभ—शिखरासारखी उंची—दृढपणे स्थापन केली.
