Sukta 7.98
यद्योधया महतो मन्यमानान्त्साक्षाम तान्बाहुभिः शाशदानान् । यद्वा नृभिर्वृत इन्द्राभियुध्यास्तं त्वयाजिं सौश्रवसं जयेम ॥
yád yodháyā maható manyamānā́n sākṣā́ma tā́n bāhúbhiḥ śāśadānā́n | yád vā nṛ́bhir vṛ́ta indra abhí-yudhyās táṃ tvayā́jim sauśravásaṃ jayema ||
जेव्हा तू युद्धात त्या महानांना हाकलतोस—जे स्वतःला अतिबलवान मानतात—आणि आम्ही त्यांना प्रत्यक्ष समोरून, भुजांच्या बळावर धावून येणाऱ्यांना, दाबून टाकतो; किंवा, हे इंद्रा, नरांसह निवडला जाऊन तू वृत्राविरुद्ध अभियुद्ध करतोस—तेव्हा तुझ्या साहाय्याने आम्ही तो संग्राम जिंकू, जो ‘सुश्रवस्’ (सत्कीर्ती) देणारा आहे.
