समु वां यज्ञं महयं नमोभिर्हुवे वां मित्रावरुणा सबाधः । प्र वां मन्मान्यृचसे नवानि कृतानि ब्रह्म जुजुषन्निमानि ॥

sám u vāṃ yajñáṃ mahayaṃ námo-bhir huvé vāṃ mitrā́varuṇā sa-bā́dhaḥ | prá vāṃ mánmāny ṛcáse návāni kṛtā́ni bráhma jujuṣann imā́ni ||

मी नमस्कारांनी तुमचा यज्ञ वाढवितो; हे मित्र-वरुणा, अविभक्त आवाहनाने मी तुम्हांला हाक देतो. तुमच्या ऋचेसाठी ही नवी मनन-रचना पुढे ठेवतो; आम्ही कृत केलेले ब्रह्म—हे मंत्र—तुम्ही स्वीकारा.
