Sukta 7.19
एते स्तोमा नरां नृतम तुभ्यमस्मद्र्यञ्चो ददतो मघानि । तेषामिन्द्र वृत्रहत्ये शिवो भूः सखा च शूरोऽविता च नृणाम् ॥
eté stomā́ narā́m nṛtama túbhyam asmadryáñco dádato maghā́ni | téṣām indra vṛtrahátye śivó bhūḥ sákhā ca śūró ’vitā ca nṛṇā́m ||
हे नृतम (अत्यंत पुरुषार्थी) नरश्रेष्ठा! हे स्तोत्र आमच्याकडून तुझ्याकडे धावतात, तुझे मघ (दान-वैभव) अर्पित करीत. हे इंद्रा! वृत्र-वधात त्यांच्यासाठी तू शिव (कल्याणकारी) हो; सखा हो, शूर हो, आणि नरांचा अविता (रक्षक)ही हो.
